  • My friend told me about this place, and for some reason I thought it would be less of a "show". We went about a week after Halloween. She had been there on Friday the 13th and apparently waited two hours to get in. This time, we only waited about 45 minutes (or was it an hour..?) After paying an exorbitant fee of $45, we were inside. The tour guide dragged us through room after room filled with curiosities and serial killer memorabilia. There was also a funhouse experience with annoying animatronic clowns. The tour guide wash quite annoying, she kept trying to crack jokes instead of sounding more serious and ominous. I noticed that when we were upstairs, I felt slightly dizzy as if the ground was moving ever so slightly. The tour guide kept asking us if we felt okay. I don't know if it was lack of air circulation, the heavily scented rooms, or whether the upstairs area is rigged to have some movement or not, but once I got back downstairs I was fine. The doll room (which we saw from another room but didn't get to enter) was the scariest thing there. T Overall, there is a lot of cool and morbid stuff to look at there, but you really don't have time to linger. Still not worth $45, though.
