I'm not exactly the type to enjoy myself at a club, but I enjoyed myself at Diesel!
As far as atmosphere goes, Diesel isn't like anything in its immediate vicinity-- it's surrounded by a bunch of sports bars-- so the multi-leveled floor plan and sleek decor makes it unique. I came here for the Bourgeous performance and while the space is tight, the crowdedness almost enhanced the energy and the experience.
We were at a VIP table and our waitress was attentive and nice! The mixed drinks were a bit weak, but with bottle service, it's easy to find a solution. The (quite lively for a Thursday night) crowd was mostly made up of college students and some people in their mid-late twenties. Security was strict, but that's not exactly off-putting, as the bouncers were tossing anyone visibly beyond drunk.
I can definitely see myself going to Diesel again in a similar situation, however, I'll leave this review with an important tip: if you're wearing heels and it's rainy/slippery/snowy outside, watch out on the stairs because they get really slick.
