I've been to many a concert here and it is always good times. Doesn't even matter who is playing! The acoustics are great; it's rarely too packed. They pretty much always have something good going on. Since the concerts are in the back, if you just want to go inside for a drink you don't have to pay the cover/ticket price if the band merits such a cost.
The first time I ever went, I played pool! It just feels so classic-dive-bar. My friend and I even started playing with some strangers and totally got hustled five dollars by a pool shark. All part of the experience. Enjoy the fiver, pool shark.
There's a little patio outside. I like the cowboy-ness of the sign. I like how big the place is and yet you never get lost! The bathrooms are downstairs are SUPER grimy. Yet, it can be sort of fun to read the writing on the wall.
A place to bob your head or dance. A place to have a drink or several. Anything goes, and so will I.
