This might be my new favorite spot for cheap eats. Wanting to try someplace new, my friend and I came here since I wanted to have after work dinner and drinks... On a budget.
We ordered a pitcher of sangria for $15 which came with cute glasses with cherries. The sangria was basic wine and orange juice but it was easy to drink and gave me a nice buzz.
My friend ordered chicken pad Thai and spring rolls while I ordered chicken wings.
The spring rolls were piping hot and crispy. Not bad for $3.95. The chicken pad Thai looked like something I could make at home but for $6 it was decent.
My wings were lightly breaded and served with a yummy, sweet BBQ sauce. Overall, I was impressed with how good the food was for such good value.
I don't know why people complain about the service, we were taken care of, checked up on and our food was quickly brought out.
You do have to walk through the kitchen to go down to the washroom but you walk outside the kitchen not exactly through the cooking. Plus seeing all the older cute Vietnamese ladies cook all the food in the back justified why the food tasted so good.
I love this place.
