rev:text	After my two-star review from last year, I would not have stayed here again but my company chose this as a conference venue again this year so I had little choice in the matter. When I arrived this time, check-in took at least 45 minutes as they were taking down credit cards on paper - their systems, which have monochrome monitors and must be 10-20 years older than the hotel itself, were down. My room this year was the standard one, which resolved my complaints from last year about the malfunctioning whirlpool (as It had no tub) and filthy balcony (as it had no balcony), though my coworkers all got upgraded to the terrace room. I briefly wondered if I was downgraded based on my negative Yelp review from last year but their computer systems are so ratchet I doubt that's a thing they're capable of. It was a lower floor in the westside tower - which affords a nice view of the fountains at Bellagio if you look straight out the window, but a view of a bunch of HVAC and the Bellagio parking garage if you look down. So don't look down. The general crowd staying here likes to party (duh) and drink (well, yeah) and one morning at like 5:30 a bunch of guys who were on their way to the exit decided to fight each other right in front of the westside tower elevators. I kinda nonchalantly walked through them figuring if they were stupid enough to bump into me and my $10 huge coffee from Va Bene they deserved the first-degree burns. I was overcharged again this year, as a duplicate charge for my bar snacks showed up on my bill about a week after checkout. I called, but it still hasn't been removed as of this writing. Better than complaining about a phantom lube charge like last year, I guess. Why it's not one star: the conference facilities are still fine and I do like the pizza. I'll revisit the property to go to Eggslut and Beauty & Essex when they open but I'll stay elsewhere.
