| - Perhaps a 4.5 would be most appropriate, but then again this was one of the best steakhouse experiences I've had. The dining room is stunning, intimate, and inviting and has gorgeous views of the Bellagio fountains. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We completely splurged, and went from classic caviar service to appetizers, entrees, and deserts. The steaks were cooked perfectly, dry aged and juicy, with a nice selection of sauces... though they didn't need them. I was told the lobster was as succulent as could be, but I am allergic and could not try it for myself. The shrimp cocktail, however, was excellent so I believe the comments on the lobster. The side dishes - the element that ultimately defines the overall success of a steakhouse for me - were perfect. The onion rings were battered, seasoned, and crisped to perfection. The mac & cheese was ooey gooey. The creamed spinach was fresh and not too creamy. The warm chocolate cake was heavenly.
This is easily one of the best steakhouses in Vegas, and the fountain view might just push it to the top if that's your sort of thing.
