  • I've had my fair share of bad haircuts, but the one I received at Kast Iron was the worst! The whole experience was absolutely awful. Went I went in, I was very optimistic. The shop looked really cool, it had 5 stars on Yelp, so I had high hopes! First off, the whole shop reeks of weed. Everyone was using fowl language, and nobody in there had a professional demeanor. The owner was even cutting my hair, and it ended in disaster. I asked for a high & tight 2.5 on the sides, and clean up the top...NOT butcher my entire head! The whole haircut is horrendous. So bad, I will have to wear a hat for probably at least a week because it's so embarrassing. I had really nice long thick hair on top with curls and all, and he made it so thin and short, it looks awful and definitely does not compliment my face shape. The lines are jacked up, I cannot even fully elaborate on all the things wrong with it. He admitted to me at the end that he really never even does high and tight haircuts. Come again? I get fades regularly as well, but wanted to switch it up. That does not mean it is acceptable to ruin my hair and my self-confidence. I waited a few days to see if the hair would improve at all or if I was overreacting, but definitely not. I really am sad that I couldn't give this place better reviews. I wish I could give it zero stars, I am very upset and will never recommend this place to anyone. Disappointed. Also, the young boy (probably 15 years old) who sweeps the shop was insanely intoxicated and reeked of weed as well. Eeeek! Beware.
