  • My brother told me about John when I woke up one day and could not move my neck. He was able to fit in a half hour appointment that day which I happily took. Even though he did not know me and had squeezed me in on short notice, he took the time to learn about me when I arrived and make me comfortable. The massage was like a magic trick, and I walked out of his studio on cloud 9. Fast forward a year or so, to when I started realizing that massage is not just an ER room for when you hurt yourself and cannot move properly. I have seen John again for an hour session and just as I remembered, the studio makes me feel calm as soon as I arrive, and John is attentive and enlightened. I had been very busy caretaking for my husband after a surgery and this session was a complete reboot for me. I cannot recommend John and his studio highly enough, and being right in my neighborhood doesn't hurt! There are lots of massage deals with big name chains, and the resort massages are serviceable, but at times too chatty or distracted. This is the only place I will be booking maintenance massages from now on.
