| - Today was my first time at Tibet Foot massage. PLEASE NOTE: I'm not sure if it was my GPS app on my smartphone or not, but I clicked on the attached GPS app and it led me to the middle of a residential area. I had to call to get proper directions. So, I would suggest to type the address yourself into your own GPS.
I give the foot spa a 4 out of 5 stars for these reasons:
PROS:
1) When you enter it has an essential oil aromatherapy scent which instantly relaxes you and allows you to leave your stresses at the door.
2) The interior decoration is nicely done. Elegant with relaxing colors.
3) The foot spa was clean which impressed me compared to other foot spas I've been to.
4) I was greeted by an English speaking well dressed lady, which I assumed was the owner. I explained my aches and pains and she led me to a very nice looking sectional area, and explained what I wanted done to the therapist.
5) I received a relaxing massage from Jay. I recommend for others to try him out.
CONS:
Though, minor, it's the reason why I didn't rate the spa a 5 star.
1) My massage therapist is a smoker and I could smell a hint of cigarette on his hands. It wasn't that strong, but I could smell it. (I highly recommend for smokers who are massage therapist to wait until after work to smoke their cigarettes. There's nothing more than the disgusting smell of a mixture of cigarette and lotion.) I had a previous bad experience at another spa where I had complained of the cigarette smell on the therapists hands. And I was given a new therapist.
2) Their speaker kept skipping, which caused the music to play loudly then low. It became annoying after awhile because no one cared enough to fix it. I over heard one of the customers complain out loud that they either should fix it or turn it off. (Which at the end of my massage they decided to turn it off all together.)
So, that's my review. I will return and try it out again. It's worth going again. The cleanliness, the atmosphere and the nice smell is what sold me and will entice me to return. If I smell cigarette hands again, I will mention it to the owner. Hopefully she will advise her therapists - no smoking allowed during work hours.
