Finally came to this spot after having it bookmarked for while. It was extremely busy in Friday around 8 and there was a wait if you wanted to eat inside. Well, it's around 100 degrees right now in Vegas so we opted to not eat on the patio.
At first the service was very attentive and then died down towards the end of the night to the point we had to keep flagging someone down when we needed something.
We started with the lychee soju and marbled beef with garlic and chives. This dish was great because the beef was a little on the fattier side and the salad had my favorite Korean dressing on it.
The Kalbi Jjim came out next and there were probably about 6 big pieces in it. The meat was very tender and fell off the bone. The sauce was not overly sweet like most Kalbi Jjim I've had. Just talking about it is making me crave this dish again.
We then tried the yogurt soju and the spicy chicken wings came out. The wings were heavily sauced and not spicy at all. Very sweet.
We the ordered the peach soju which was probably my least favorite if the three flavors but still refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness.
They have this wheel that you can spin in the from and is supposed to be for people that spend a minimum of $20 per person after 10 pm. We noticed this when we were about to walk out the door and had to ask someone if we could have a spin. It ended up landing on "free appetizer" and the man said we had to order it right then and there. Pretty weird especially because we already paid and were on our way out the door. They've got to figure out a better way to do this. We just opted to forget about ordering the free item since it was time to leave.
This is a great spot to go to for soju and appetizers. Especially because most Korean restaurants I've been to require cooking your own food. It's enjoyable to relax and leave the cooking to the pros.
