  • Huh? Where's the love? I absolutely adore Embrace! I adopted a boxer puppy in 2010. He ended up having some pretty serious health issues about 7 months after I got him. He spent 4 days inpatient at the vet hospital, which ran about $4,000. Once he got out, he was ok for about 2 weeks, but promptly got sick again, running up another $2,000. I was a student with horrid credit at the time- not eligible for credit cards or Care Credit. I was rapidly running out of my emergency savings and my dog still needed medical care. Enter Embrace Pet Insurance. Luckily, I'd insured my pup immediately upon getting him. They were incredible. Their claims normally take 4 weeks to process, but they were able to put a bit of a rush on it when I called and explained the situation. They were also *incredibly* kind- I was sobbing into the phone to a total stranger about how scared I was about my poor puppy's health and couldn't figure out why he wasn't getting better despite having care from what was supposedly the best vets in Boston. They listened to me, used soothing voices, and processed my claims very quickly. My money was returned at the full 80% rate that they promised. We finally figured out what was wrong with him, and luckily, I've only had to file about 1 claim a year for emergency care that required 1 visit. I have friends who have VPI and they are always surprised at how amazingly easy claims are with Embrace. Everyone I've converted loves this insurance!
