I've heard a lot of bad press about this place. For example, some of my friends have told me that this place sells stolen bike parts. First off, where is the evidence for this? No one has ever been able to tell me. It is all hear-say. I would like to give my personal experience with this place.
The first time I came here, they had all these recycled and fixed-up bikes out on the sidewalk. Potential customers are allowed to give them a test-ride. They were all priced. Inside the warehouse are tons of bike parts, wheels, bikes, etc and everything was priced as well, and priced fairly.
I bought a 3-speed, $60 recycled bike and I even prefer it to a $500 hybrid that I bought that same year. It's got a little rust on it but feels like an extension of my own body. They installed a kickstand on it for $5 as well. I needed a good bike pump and they had one for $45. I only had $30 left in my wallet and the man smiled and said he could let it go for that price. So I was given a $15 discount on an awesome bike pump that I still use to this day. The customer service was fantastic and I have no reason to assume that these people were trying to rip me off - quite the opposite, in fact.
I came back several times to test-ride other bikes and even though I never bought anything, they were nothing but courteous.
