| - Do not use this company!! They did the old bait and switch on us. I hired them to do an initial cleaning and weekly service. I got quote from another maid service and called Terry at Maid Brigade and when I called to cancel, due to the lower price, he said he would match the initial cleaning rate and then will do the weekly cleaning at the rate the other company had quoted me. They came out and did the initial service and did a fairly good job. So, I hired them to do weekly service.
I am not wealthy, my in laws were paying for it because I recently became disabled and my husband is working 60-70 hours a week to pay the bills.
After 1 weekly cleaning, i was told that they would have to raise the price by $60 a week to $140, after they made a verbal agreement for $80 a week. Instead of being a good business owner and eat the loss, they refused to honor their agreement.
Do not trust them, they will lie and tell you one price, but if it takes longer than they thought to clean your house, they will raise the price. There was nothing ever told to me about this when they first quoted me the price. Even after they did the initial cleaning, nothing said. But the day before they are supposed to come out they want to raise the price another $60 a week. This is ridiculous! Do not trust them, they will say one price and change it if it takes the girls longer to clean. It's not my fault they can't get it done. If they don't know how long it will take, don't price match!
If you price match, you have to keep your word, they did not and will not honor the price they gave me. This is the east valley Maid Brigrade, Terry is the owner's husband and he was trying to back out the whole time, he lied and said he never made the promise to match price, but I have two witnesses that were there when I talked to him.
Do not use them! Besides, the work was just okay, nothing spectacular. The maids asked me if I wanted to keep a piece of popcorn on the nightstand that I didn't see, really?
