We made Del Sol our home for almost 3 years. It was our first apartment together, we brought our baby home from the hospital there and unfortunately I have nothing but bad feelings when I think about this poorly ran apartment complex.
They rarely answer the phone or emails. They seem to be particularly fond of long breaks and have completely mastered the art of saying they will do something and not doing it. Each week there seems to be a new manager or new front desk person. Everything slips through the cracks and is blamed on the previous management. I HATE dealing with this company.
The apartment itself lasted about a year before it started falling apart. Everything is fake. The 'wood like flooring' is a sticker as well as the granite-like countertops (ha!). Our tubs peeled, AC broke more times than I can count, our countertops peeled, cabinets fell off and this disgusting smell lingers in the air that actually started to make me feel crazy. We had a maid service come in every week and had our carpets cleaned regularly and the smell would still remain. We are extremely clean people and even in our new home our furniture brought along the 'Del Sol Smell' but it's getting better.
Finally we got out and I'm still dealing with their incompetencies. We had multiple people interested in taking over our lease but all have the same story - can't get a hold of the office. They even tried to sell the people that I BROUGHT IN short term leases and then lied about it. They made it impossible for us to save some money after buying a house by sabotaging our ability to have someone fill the space. Their behavior was embarrassing and frustrating and I am counting my blessings every day that we no longer live there.
Don't fall for their over filtered pictures! This place is crap covered in cheap paint. The new management team with Lauren and Jasmine is somehow even worse than the smell.
