//Edited 7/10/2016/ Enjoyed Bill Maher's performance at Heinz Hall. Wonderful
But seats in the family circle area. Seats are just too small for anyone over 5 11 and over 220. Cramped and this detracted from everything.
Hint: Stay in the orchestra area where the seats are not like being on a cheap commuter flight in coach.
Benedum for Damn Yankees -- excellent performance and the seats were more than adequate.

New York is a wonderful city for the the performing arts.
And so is Pittsburgh.
Heinz Hall, Benedum... the entire cultural district of Pittsburgh. There are more offerings available that any single person can track let alone enjoy. Add in the ultra convenient parking, close proximity of the venues, and the performances... one could just buy a condo in the district and walk from one place to another each day.... Benedum, Heinz, and a dozen other places within easy reach.
While you are there, check out Meat and Potatoes as a bar and restruarant.
And the stage behind this called Caberet.... Initimate, fun.
