  • I heard that the digital print section of some big Shoppers Drug Marts was a good place to get passport photos. Since this one was nearby, and my passport has expired, I went. The good news: passport photos $10. The bad news: they closed down the photo lab last week, since the whole store is being renovated (odd, since they just built this particular Shoppers a few years ago), and the lab won't be open again until November. The rest of this large Shoppers is still open, but it's a bit discombobulated right now. There is a clearance rack, with baby formula and other sundries, so it might be worth a look. Hopefully, they'll still have their occasional loss-leader bagged milk sale (4L for $2.99!) at this location, since in the past I've made the trip here just for that deal alone.
