  • I had used Handy a handful of times to get my home cleaned and once to hire a handyman. I was please with the ease of using the website and the services were good. I am however, incredibly disappointed in their customer service. I had an appointment scheduled to get the house cleaned and about an hour prior Handy called to let me know the house cleaner would not be able to make the appointment because she got a flat tire. Completely understandable. But Handy still charged my account for that appointment ($80!) and it was virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone so I emailed from the website, never heard from anyone. Finally I was able to get through to someone on the telephone and he said he would have to escalate and get his superior involved and he would be in touch. Several months later, no one has been in touch and I have not received a credit. I am very disappointed because I liked using Handy but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
