I am not sure why this review is so late but as they say ("better late than never".) I was in Toronto last May for a medical conference and decided to extend my stay for the weekend. Going on walking tours is a part of my routine when solo traveling. I went on four tours in the span of three days so I really got to know the "Tour Guys" very well. They are all fabulous people. I started with the St Lawrence Market Food Tour. That was my favorite for the obvious reason. The tour guide really was enthusiastic about Toronto culture and the food scene. He also was very authentic about his opinions. An example is stating that we should not try poutine in Toronto but wait until to try it Vancouver and/or Quebec City (both places I will be traveling during the summer). It was during the food tour that I discovered my love for Ice Wine! My second tour was the Downtown Toronto Tour. This was a very cool tour that was a led by a very knowledgeable tour guide. She told us why Drake calls TO "the six" which gave everyone a laugh. My third tour was the Old Town Toronto History Tour and my fourth the Queen Street West & Graffiti Alley. As a graffiti enthusiast, the tour was very nicely organized. If you are traveling the Canada the Tour Guys are a MUST! Toronto is now one of my favorite cities and I will definitely be back to go on the Ghost Tour.
