I rarely leave reviews but really feel a need to do so with this company. Horrible customer service and even worse quality. We first ordered the top-down-bottom-up blinds in March. They came a few weeks later and were not top-down-bottom-up as ordered. They were just standard blinds. We called Blinds Chalet - they said they would talk to the manufacturer and let me know what they would offer. One week goes by and no calls - I had to call back THREE times. Finally I was able to speak to a manager and she had the the blinds picked up, remade and sent out to us. All in all it took about 3 weeks. I asked for a discount and she said she would refund me $75 (this news again took over a week because she had to get approval from the manufacturer). Well....about two months go by and no credit on our account.. I had to make another call to ask about it. FINALLY the credit appears - I think they were hoping I would just go away. In early September the cord on the the large blind we had on our picture window snapped. I called Blind Chalet and Petra said they would call the manufacturer and call me back - two weeks go by and guess what - no call! I called Blinds Chalet , sat on hold for 18 minutes (this is normal) - I finally hung up and used their Live Chat function. Derek told me that Petra just received word from the manufacturer 13 hours earlier. If the manufacturer takes that long to respond to a complaint about a faulty blind, it's time to find a a new manufacturer. I was told by Derek that the company would not pay for shipping to fix the blind because it was past 60 days. They only guarantee blinds for 60 days?? Go elsewhere for you blinds - the hassle and low-quality are not worth the savings!!!
