I was going here when they first opened back when...
It sort of took the place of Nickeo's Rodeo and Deramus's (Providence Road Sundries) etc.. It catered to that "St. Elmo's Fire" type of crowd. For those that can identify, this is your sort of place. Only problem, if you remember Nickeo's, you'll probably have to be the one buying the drinks.
As I recall, food was really good. The hand tossed pizza. Good pub food in general. details are unimportant when you're drinking stout.
Girls can be exceptional but a little snootie. Take a puppy with you.
Lastly, this place is a clique joint. Great in the summer with the women hanging out, if you know what I mean, and perfect for chilly fall weather with the ballgames and the fire pit etc.. Just know that the folks here shop at South Park and live in Myers Park and if you ain't in the crowd you better come loaded or you'll be just another guy drooling at the bar.
