They should change their name to WORST INN. This place is a dump located smack dab in the middle of the 'hood. Hotels.com really let me down by having this hell hole listed on their site.
Sure, the price was nice, but I do expect a clean room and a decent night's rest. Is that so much to ask? According to the Indian owner I was asking too much. I mention her ethnicity because she started speaking to an old lady in a foreign language after I requested a new room. Her eye rolls and foul attitude told me everything I needed to hear despite the intentional language barrier she resurrected.
I requested a different room upon check-in because there were birds chirping loudly, and I knew it would preclude me from getting a decent night's rest. The lady gives me a room 3 doors down where I could still hear the birds, but also there were broken blinds, so the light comes in, too. If the birds and the light don't keep you awake, the sleazy strip club in the bank yard playing loud rap music at 3 a.m.will certainly do the trick!
Ok, back to room #1. She says there's Wi-Fi, but it's down most of the time because there are "too many people using it." She explains to me that it's free, and I tell her I'm willing to pay for it if I can get Wi-Fi. She begins arguing with me about the Wi-Fi, about the room (she says the birds aren't her problem, and then she accuses me of wanting to kill the birds...I'm no "birderur"), then I ask for towels and she argues with me saying I should've gotten them in the morning when the housekeeper came.
I told them over and over again I did not want my room serviced, but there are no "do not disturb" signs, so I was "disturbed" anyway (in more ways than one).
Nighttime "security" brought on another host of problems when they refused my ride entry into the gate so that I could be dropped off safely at my room. Omg do NOT stay here! Sleep in your car or at a homeless shelter instead. I bet the homeless shelter has Wi-Fi!
F this Place!
