| - The Palazzo is my favorite place to stay in Vegas.
The only shame about the Palazzo, is that you don't stay in the room enough to enjoy it!
The location is prime (north Strip adjoined to Venetian, near TI, Mirage, Wynn & Encore), the accommodations are large and luxurious, and there's something for everyone. They have a huge casino on property with all the slots and table games you can think of, restaurants for every taste and budget, several pools with plenty of seating and cabanas for rent, a spa, shops that range from expensive taste to extremely expensive, a sports book that rivals any other I've seen on the Strip with massive screens and even a smaller sports book booth located near registration.
In the rooms, there is a long hallway as you enter that leads you into your bedroom. A divider with granite stone separates the room into a sunken living room with a wrap around velour sectional to sit and watch TV in an armoir. There's also a small table to sit at next to the window and a desk area. A $20/day resort fee keeps your room pumped with wi-fi. There's a mini bar that isn't exorbitant (well, for Vegas standards) and a full breakfast/lunch/dinner option for in-room dining.
There's another flat screen LCD TV in your bedroom area and a smaller one in the bathroom where you have gorgeous tile, a makeup sitting area, separate bath and tub, and water closet.
The staff was incredibly friendly. When we checked in, I saw the line and groaned. I wanted to be at the pool drinking already! But it went fast and they were very nice and explained everything.
Pay extra for the Strip view- it's worth it. Our view was of Vegas- and the top of the parking structure. I closed the blinds (by remote!) just to not have to look at it.
It's luxurious. It's opulent. It's everything you could want & then some.
