  • I recently stayed here for a little Labor Day Staycation and I was really impressed! The Rush Tower King room was HUGE! Much bigger than any other King room that I've stayed in here in Vegas. (See photos). The décor had to have been newly remodeled as everything seemed very updated and fresh. I really appreciated having ample space in the bathroom to get ready for a night out. No bump ins at all! The reasons why I did not give the Golden Nugget 5 stars are due to the shower issues that I encountered... seems like a showerhead went unfixed, BUT they sent someone up quickly to fix it. The other reason was the check in line. I experienced a much longer wait checking into the Golden Nugget than I have anywhere else (at much larger properties, even). I'm unsure why the Rush Tower check in was closed... but they should consider keeping it open. ESPECIALLY on busy holiday weekends. The property outside of the rooms is nice as well. Everything appears to be much more updated than you would expect an off Fremont hotel to have. I really enjoyed the pool area and being able to swim around a shark tank. The waterslide is the greatest! I'm pretty sure that we will be booking another staycation here just to enjoy the pool again!
