| - I had an issue with the service department two weeks ago at Cochran KIA. I called to express my concerns about the service manager, Anthony, to his boss, Oscar. Oscar had Anthony call me back instead of calling me himself. I didn't want to talk to Anthony again, I wanted to talk to Oscar, because it was Anthony that I had the issue with.
I then called Elaine Corbin, who is is some sort of executive with Cochran. I was told she would call me back. I'm still waiting two weeks later.
I then called Leslie, who is Rob Cochran's assistant. She didn't return my call either.
Mr. Cochran, I would love to talk to you.
So, since the Cochran Auto won't return any of my phone calls, I will let everyone know the level of service that they provide.
I made an appointment two weeks in advance to have two minor recalls taken care of on my KIA Soul. I was told that it would take 4 hours to do both, so I dropped it off before they opened, even though my appointment was at 830. I returned at 3pm to pick up my car, only to find out that they never even touched my car. So, they had the car for 6 1/2 hours, to do work that supposedly took 4 hours.
Anthony did not have a explanation, other than bad time management on their part. He offered to reschedule me for another day, which I declined. I took my car to South Hills KIA instead, and they had both recalls done in less than an hour. Seems a little odd that one dealership could have the work done in an hour, when another one said it would take 4 hours to do.
Let this be your warning about "service after the sale" with Cochran. Expect to get slow and unresponsive service. And if you have a concern or complaint, good luck to you, because you will never hear back from them.
Three weeks, still no phone call from Cochran.
Four weeks, and no phone call from Cochran.
