| - Absolutely horrible. In the past, I've had horrible experiences with St. Luke's Behavioral and unfortunately had to return after my partner suffered a workplace injury. The waiting time was ridiculous. My partner was there for nearly 10 hours, for a non-severe broken ankle. He really only required x-rays and a splint. In the waiting room, a homeless man stumbled in, locked himself in the convenient Woman's restroom and shot up drugs, probably meth. He then came out, took his shoes off and stumbled around for about 15 minutes before trying to start a physical altercation with my partner. Security handled the situation HORRIBLY, at one point removing themselves as the barrier between my wheelchair bound boyfriend and the drugged man. Security seemed to want an escalation. Luckily, the druggie left without violence and was arrested by PD. If security had paid any attention to the fact that he was using the bathroom, with a tourniquet and stumbling around the waiting room afterwards, they could have prevented the man from becoming violent in the first place. Awful, horrible place that makes an injury 1000x more stressful.
