  • If I could have rated this place three and a half stars I would've. Let's get the bad news out of the way. Mega Tom's Burgers can be a hit or miss, and I thinks it's due to customer service or who ever is in the kitchen at the moment. When it comes to customer service I personally don't know what to expect when going to Tom's, it's either going to be the lovely personality of an opinionated cashier that has suggestions on certain food items to try(rare) or the girl that over charges your credit card three times(true story) and is just there until a better job comes along. First of all let me say the prices set the expectations of the food. I am a foodie and a cook, and in my opinion there is no such thing as "too expensive" when it comes to great food. With that being said some of the prices are TOO EXPENSIVE for certain items on the menu. The menu is enormous! The pastrami is quite distasteful for a place that promotes specializing in making great pastrami sandwiches. The burgers are, good, but keep it simple, nothing more than cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The breakfast burrito's are good and the Greek Salads with pita bread are tasteful as well. Their pita bread is actually great. What makes a great place to eat is having an item on your menu that taste better than any place near by that serves the same item, and Tom has done that with two items. The Turkey Burger and there house Ranch dressing. I can promise Tom's has the best ranch dressing in the world. I live in Summerlin and there have been plenty of occasions where I've drove across town just to get an order of fries and ranch, sometimes two trips a day. If you're into to Turkey burgers then you know to find a good turkey burger is like a finding diamond in the rough, well welcome to the rough. Tom's burgers are good, but the turkey burgers are the best Las Vegas has to offer, and I'm still searching. Overall Tom's is a place where you find something you love and stick to what you know. I'm sure if they get the pastrami right, shave the prices by a few pennies and make sure the customer service is consistent this could easily be the go to eatery of Las Vegas for locals and tourist alike.
