  • My husband and I had visited the dam before, but stopped by with our (adult) kids on a visit to Vegas. Definitely do the plant and dam tour if possible - check ahead because you can almost always do the plant tour, but you should really go when you can go inside the dam as well. It very informative and interesting - my one son who is studying engineering loved it, but it's not just for engineers, we all found the facts and history behind it extremely interesting. Also, be sure to go through the exhibits and check out the informational video.
