I love the good sales at Kohl's but I'm getting very annoyed at the crummy customer service at this store. I went to the customer service desk to ask if they had a size available on my most recent visit. I waited while the clerk was putting items away from the last customer. When she motioned me up to the counter I told her the size I was looking for while holding the item. She let out a breath and says "uhh well I can look it up but no guarantee we have it"-- she scanned the bar code and said "it says we have one but I have no idea where it is". Over the loud speaking she asked for assistance in the department I was looking for and told me to walk back there and look for someone
To help. I felt like I was truly an inconvenience to her! It was horrible. A while ago I was checking out with a pair of pants that had been listed as 40% off. They didn't ring up on sale so I told the cashier. She INSISTED I must have looked at the wrong sign and misunderstood the item that was really on sale. I told her no and explained where the sign was. She started to bicker with me not reading the sign correctly. I asked to show her. She got on the phone and asked someone to look. A few moments later she got a return call and kept saying "yeah, yeah, ok"-- she then turns to me while making a disgruntled face and says "that sign was left up in error from our last sale. But since you want the sale price we'll give it to you THIS TIME ONLY" --- as if I was being given special treatment! Both these experiences have just burned me the wrong that I'm really unhappy with this Kohl's.
