| - Lived here nearly five years and here's what the honest to God truth is.
First off, the walls are thin and there's a ton of people who work late nights here. It's cheap and near the square, so understanding the fact that people are up late is apart of living here. Get a fan or ear plugs. It's never been an issue for myself, however this isn't a place for small children. Furthermore if your kiddos are heavy sleepers, there is a nice playground just feet from the pool. Speaking of, the pools are usually heated and they both have relaxing hot tubs just feet from them for the winter.
As far as storage, the apartments are tiny. I live in a two bedroom with my boyfriend and we have a hard time storing holiday items, however the in room laundry units are totally worth it. But the actual washer and dryer are stashed in the master bedroom, which sometimes makes it hard to sleep if you're doing late night laundry. Also they are extremely small. If you want to pay a small fee, there are two large community laundry rooms filled with washer/dryers.
Okay so now security: the men I've regularly correlated with for security have been utmost respectful and actually patrol the parking lot. The parking spots are extremely small, and the covered parking is really hard to get in and out of your doors. You only get ONE parking pass per lease, but there is PLENTY of extra parking for yourself or guests.
The maintenance is really really phenomenal with getting to your needs. For myself, I've had no issues ever getting things done quickly and efficiently. Zero complaints with maintenance. However the 8am lawn mowers suck, especially if you work nights like 80% of the residents here.
Pets are extremely welcome! There are tons of grassy areas for dogs to relieve themselves, which is rare in the desert!
Really the biggest thing is be prepaid to know your neighbors and respect their music at 1am. Everyone here is friendly, yet stays up late. It's a cheap apartment for a reason, people!
