  • I am a snowbird who spends winters in Las Vegas away from the snow that plagues my hometown. I am a Silver Sneakers member and set out to find a gym that honored and welcomed my membership. This location was about 8 miles from my home but seemed to have all the amenities that I wanted. My friend and I were greeted nicely by Vanessa who was thorough in giving us a tour of the facility and explaining all the features of this location. I did not choose this venue as the "upsell" was more than I was expecting. While the membership is FREE because I am a Senior Citizen, the persuasion to purchase "add-ons" got to be too much and I felt pressured and overwhelmed. I know that it is only what the front desk is expected to do, but once I explained that I was on a pension and had no money for such extras, I was dismissed and left hanging. I might mention that for a Sunday the place was sparsely attended and no where did I see any Senior Citizens. I am only giving two stars because Vanessa was a nice girl trying to do her job. I will not be back.
