I took my "cattle dog" here after the park for a self wash. She wasn't particularly dirty but it was time for her to have one. Maybe I'm just spoiled at the dog wash I frequent, but I felt like there was MUCH to be desired here, such as;
An option for a lower bath basin/shower for larger dogs as some self-washes provide,
An attendant who shows you where everything is before you start.
Shampoo that isn't watered down, I used like half the bottle and still couldn't get decent suds.
Shampoos and conditioners that are labeled correctly, even after they noticed the mistake, they just went on and put them back in the basket for the next customer.
Tools that are cleaned between each use, hair all over the brushes and combs.
Adjustable heat on the water.
Tubs that are cleaned, not just rinsed before use so I don't have to unclog the drain before I start.
All in all, $14 isn't a stellar price for a self wash and I'm left halfway regretting stopping in, although I agree with other yelpers that this is a very convenient location if your dog plays a little too rough at the park.
