So disappointed. The first time we went to Chima we loved it - it was beyond delicious and we talked about it for months.... Until restaurant week 2015. (Brace yourselves).... We had reservations with another couple and were so excited and ready to have another round. Unfortunately, restaurant week must've killed it - they were so busy - the service staff were friendly and even as some yumminess passed is by, we were generally ok. Until.... We got bacon wrapped chicken... RAW!!!! I mean not a little raw, not questionably pink, totally raw on the inside and only the bacon was cooked. Yikes. The staff was very apologetic and quickly replaced our plates and silver, but it was almost as if to hide that it happened and we never heard another peep. One of our guests unfortunately ate the raw chicken before the rest of us caught it and he was violently ill that night and next day. I'm devastated. High hopes and sheer disappointment. #saynotorawchicken restaurant week is not the time to visit. We might try again in 6 months - but honestly, I'm not so sure.
