  • Third time purchasing from Spencer's, first time visiting this location. I've been wanting to install water softener since I purchased my current home four years ago. I had one priced out and I had a few other plumbers came by to quote me on installation. Based on the pricing, I was going to wait just a bit more..... until I receive email from Spencer's about preferred customers closed event. When I walked in, they were very busy assisting other customers. Three staff acknowledged me separately and told me one of them will be with me as soon as possible. Wait wasn't too bad at all. I told one of them I wanted water softener and he asked for square footage of my house as well as how many people lives there. He recommended just the right size based on my house. When I asked for larger size, he said I could get one if I just want to pay more for unnecessary capacity... they don't sell you higher price one to make more money. They want to recommend right size one. Once I decided what I wanted, he processed credit card payment quickly and I was out in no time. I think I was there for about 10 minuets. Installation and delivery went smooth. Their contractor contacted me to schedule a deliver and installation. They showed up when they said they were going to, very professional and treated me with courtesy. Their work was efficient and clean. I was pleased how nicely they did and cleaned up their mess before they left. They asked the same question 3 times to make sure I was really happy. I spent a year getting quotes from three different plumbers so I know their price is very fair and competitive. Nothing was overcharged. I love soft water now. Why did I wait so long. I just needed to visit Spencer's in the first place to avoid wasting times.
