  • My family used Vegas Western cab on May 1 around 5pm from McCarran rent-a-car center to the Excalibur hotel (only 2.6 miles). This is how our ride ended up: the driver were on the phone talking and texting to someone almost the entire time (and yes, there was a baby in the car!). When we arrived at the hotel, she told us that we have to pay her $26 (not including tips) even when the fare meter shows only about $20. So after tipping, we ended up paying almost $30 for less than 3 miles. I would not use, or recommend anyone to use this cab company for their trip, given that the quality of the driver is below the standard and that drivers do not value customers' safety as well as not being honest about the fare.
