I've been taking my dog to AZ Animal Clinic for almost 3 years now. At first I really liked them. I have a half Lab / Dalmatian that has Epilepsy and Dr. Mike did a great job of diagnosing him and getting him on medication to help his seizures. My dog has always had a big fear of enclosed places and feeling like he's being overwhelmed if multiple people approach him so he gets defensive but never aggressive and they dealt with that very well until recently. I boarded him there for 3.5 days 3 week ago and all of the sudden I get a report back that he was aggressive. I called to see what happened and didn't hear back. Then a new Doctor (Dr. John) calls me and says we aren't going to be able to see your dog anymore because he's too aggressive and unpredictable. I tried to ask him the details of what happened and he just said "he bit me". I was actually trying to questions him and believe it or not he became "aggressive and defensive"! He didn't want to answer any of my questions as to what happen or give any details and actually hung up on me! So I guess AZ Animal Clinic now only caters to "Nice,Sweet,Gentle,No problem, pets instead of helping animals in need. And to be honest? Who in the hell becomes a Veterinarian and doesn't expect to get bit every once in a while. Animals can lash out for many reasons...Pain, Fear, Anxiety, etc.. If he only wants to deal with the dream animals he should find himself another profession. Very disappointing!
