| - So I came here on Thursday night this week, no reservation.
The hostess was very nice and I got seated in 5 minutes, and dress warm in summer, this place is like a meat locker at this time of night around 8:30 p.m.
The hostess was wearing a wrap around sweater too keep warm.
Now the food, the House made mozzarella and tomato with basil and balsamic reduction salad, this salad was just average. The mozzarella was tough, seemed like not their best attempt at this salad course.
The entree was Chicken Marsala and it was huge in portion size, the chicken was over cooked, the sauce and mushrooms were very good, too bad the chicken ruined it. I ordered a side of vegetable risotto and it was a good choice.
The house wine selection Pinot Grigio was very good named after the owners vineyard.
The Coffee and Tiaramisu were the highlight of the meal.
Brenda my server was vety nice and attentive, she is actually the reason this was not 2 stars for the review.
Probably will not go back, the town has far better Italian restaurant choices than this one.
I wish only the food was as impressive as the wine cellar.
