  • We brought the family here for a weeknight dinner. I think the whole idea of a place like Pickle Barrel is consistency, but unfortunately the service and the food didn't meet the standard this time. One of the pea shoots in my quinoa salad bowl still had the root attached (and dirt too). Yuck. Service was slow and indifferent. The place was recently renovated so the atmosphere is nice but I'd take good food over nice decor any day.
