  • I got a recommendation to see Claire from some coworkers for whom she had done most of their professional marketing photography along with engagement photos and a wedding booking. It came with something of a caveat that she was a character. Bright red hair, tattoos, a rockabilly kind of chick, I think that was how she was described. She responded to my email promptly and got me booked in for a Sunday afternoon, and it was a totally relaxed experience, which for me was excellent as I hate being photographed. This wasn't a cold, stodgy session with some grey haired eccentric shoving me into awkward positions. She just started shooting as we talked, laughed, and all that sort fo thing. It was a fantastic experience, with some breaks while she showed me some of what she had to work with. Is Claire for everyone? Maybe not, and I ready Yulia's review and have to wonder how much time she put into planning their wedding photography. Certainly there should be a good discussion beforehand of what you want, but I find her description not at all like my experience.
