| - Classic, classy decor, hidden inside a dump of a casino...and I will be back! After reading so many good reviews of this place, I had to check it out. Who knew such a great restaurant would be inside of Circus Circus? Come for happy hour between 4 and 6 at their small bar. The drinks are half price and they don't cut corners. Michael is a great bartender. He's friendly, professional and has good knowledge of the town. The mesquite grill is in the middle of the restaurant, so you can see them grilling your steak. I started with the shrimp cocktail. Giant shrimp that were fresh and great tasting. For my meal, I had the porterhouse steak with salad, garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. One of the many great things about this place is that your great steak comes with soup or salad, baked or mashed potatoes and veggies. At most other high end steak houses, the steak is a la carte and doesn't come with anything. Other places make you pay like $15 for each side. Anyway, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and very tender. They season the meat enough so it has flavor, but you can taste the beef. No need for steak sauce, but I would imagine with just a touch, it can be great as well. The service was excellent and I have nothing bad to say about this place. It's a nice little oasis inside of a cheesy casino. I will be back and I will recommend this restaurant for sure!
