I had an unpleasant experience at YouFit when I tried to cancel after about 1 1/2 years. First of all, they won't let you do it on line, you have to go down to the club personally. Well that's inconvenient but OK, they're nice people down there. I ended up paying for the next 30 days which is customary, and OK with me. But there turned out to be a $25.00 PROCESSING charge of some kind (i.e. ransom), payable before they would let me disengage. Now I am sure there are some lawyers out there that will point out that the $25.00 was in the fine print when I signed up. Probably, but I have belonged to perhaps 10 different clubs over the past 30 years or so I have been working out. I do not recall EVER having to pay $25.00 + $15.00 = $40.00 to stop doing business with anybody. I consider this to be uncustomary and unexpected. I therefore, sadly cannot recommend YouFit; an otherwise "pretty good place". If you are thinking of joining up there, I recommend you read your contract and ask about the $25.00 escape penalty.
