rev:text	in late November, after much shopping around I decided on a beige leather love seat for a office area that we are opening in January 2015. The earliest they would have in-stock and could deliver was December 24th, I agreed since it wasn't needed till January. On Dec.13th I received a call from their Lakeland FL office confirming delivery on Dec. 24th. On December 19th I received a call from the Carolina Place store telling me delivery would be from 12 to 5 PM on the 24th and I said fine, just give me a call at your last stop and I will meet you there. I was then told that they do not call customers anymore, that someone would have to be present when they arrived or it would be returned. Having ordered several rooms of furniture from them in the past, I knew if that was now policy that it was a new policy, so I tried reasoning with RTG about the building was unoccupied at the present and that it was Christmas Eve and I would not ask an employee or myself to just go there and sit and wait. They positively would not budge. I was called back by a guy named Kevin trying to sway me to change my mind saying it was not their policy and never had been. He said they had Spanish speaking drivers on their trucks whose English was not good, so they did not do that, and that if I insisted, they would just have to cancel my order. I told him to just go ahead and cancel, because I could not imagine not being able to be called before a delivery. Thank goodness for Wayfair, I found a comparable loveseat at a better price with free shipping. And yes they will call before delivery. So sorry to see such a wonderful company in years past, divert to such negative customer service practices.
