  • K & K Specialty Tropical Fruit is a small fruit stand with fresh flavors not typically found outside of Asia, including one that ranks at the top of Andrew Zimmern's least favorite foods -- durian, a pulpy fruit that smells so bad that the store offers gloves to handle it. Unlike Andrew, my boyfriend and I ventured here only to find that the customer service was relly lacking. It was hard finding someone who spoke English, egich was fine but when we did they were not able to assist. We tried the pre cut durian which had no smell (not sure how fresh it was since it had been cut already). We really were hoping to try some exotic fruits but we did not. Overall, they have lots of exotic fruits and items to choose from. I think they would do a lot more business if they treated all customers like Andrew (lol), approach them and offer them some assistance.
