  • They say to never trust a mechanic, but at Today's Auto this theory is proven wrong. I have been coming here for 10+ years and have absolutely no complaints. There have been many times something is needed to be fixed, and they tell me where to go to buy a cheaper part instead of forcing me to buy it through them at a higher cost. They have mentioned certain problems with my car and then truthfully told me that they do not need to be fixed right away instead of pushing me to do the repair so they can make money. The owner is so genuinely friendly and has a great, professional staff working for him. Even the younger apprentices have such pleasant personalities and can carry on a conversation. Takes appointments, doesn't overbook, and car is always ready when promised. You get what you pay for - prices aren't super cheap, but I learned the hard way that cheap can end up costing you more in the end. I once cheated and went to an Active Green & Ross to save the $10/$15 on my oil change & to fix a bulb. The idiots replaced the wrong bulb (which was a pain in the ass as I was going on a road trip the next day and had a broken back blinker) and being bombarded by staff with the 1083084 things wring with my car that I needed to get fixed (by them of course) immediately before they would let me pay. To top it off they wouldn't fix the bulb mix-up when I went back to them. Twits. Bottom line. Pick this mechanic. Don't cheat on him. He will never lie to you. Your call will be happy.
