The bagels tasted fine, however there was a piece of metal in my bagel! About a half inch long and eighth inch wide piece of twisted metal that I almost swallowed and had to pull out of mouth after it cut my mouth. When we called we were told the metal was from cleaning out a machine and has happened before. They were perfectly polite, but not really concerned that it is not safe to eat metal. The challah bread we bought that same day was also extremely stale. I worked in a bakery for years and that bread had to be well over 5 days old. It was honestly the stalest bread I have ever seen in my life.
