| - I've been going here for two years now and it's never disappointed on delivering what I expect from it: very reasonably priced movies ($3.50/3D movies, $2/general admission, $1/Tuesdays).
This is economical movie going, folks. The film experience is on point for this kind of place. This place is great for seeing previously released films that came out a couple to few months earlier. I cannot ask for more from a place that does not purport to be shee-shee poo-poo fancy theater with all the fixings. If you came for a very popular movie like an Avatar, Star Wars, Avengers, and Jurassic World type, there will be a little bit of wait in the weather. There is no shade until you get to the ticket counter. So that means you'll wait in the heat and sunlight of summer and the cold of winter.
Everything is cash only.
Restrooms are clean. Seating is a bit old and worn but not distasteful.
Staff can be a bit goofy and even a bit unhelpful but its employ rotates because it's basically run by UNLV and CSN students getting their feet wet in the business world. Most of the time, their pretty good about service. Cut them a little slack for their neophyte and sophomoric ways as they endeavor toward your expected level of customer service. Remember, you paid at least $10 less per ticket than you would going to any of the other theater houses so something had to give, right?
Expect the same old overpriced concessions here. Make it worth your while by getting a large popcorn and large coke and get a refill on each when you exit the theater to make it a better investment.
What's my bottom line? If you want to see a movie that's been out for a while that's probably on the way to Blu-ray/on demand, come here when you're in Vegas and get the best priced movie experience here in the valley. The drawbacks are minor and the price more than makes up for it. My actual rating is a solid 4.1 stars...
