| - This is definitely a fun little spot for a mom and pop feel Italian restaurant. Located (basically) underneath the High Roller next to the LINQ, it's rather easy to get to for locals and visitors alike. It is a very quick Lyft from the strip, and for locals they have their own private lot. The lot is FREE. This is of course now rare when dining on the Strip (so it is HIGHLY appreciated).
Battista's is always busy, so you should absolutely make a reservation prior to arriving. Especially if you plan to visit on a weekend, or when there is a large event in town (so basically always). You can make a reservation directly on their website, and they'll email confirmation of your reserved time, very convenient.
Note that they do not split checks here, so if you plan to bring a group, either all bring cash to pay, or know one person will need to pay the tab and be paid back by the group (my personal friend circle uses Venmo and it works wonders).
When you arrive, you will walk through a mini corridor and into a mood lit place that is much larger than it appears. The hostess stand will be right in front of you with the small bar area to your left (you can sit here and order apps, but you must be seated to have dinner). We always sit here first and order drinks while we wait to be seated. It works well. Once your table is ready they will announce it over the speaker and lead you to your table. Once seated, they'll direct you to the walls to see their menu and specials. Its pretty much everywhere so no matter where you sit you'll be able to have a view of the menu. ALL of their dinners come with soup or salad, bread, and for dessert a cappuccino! So fun! The food itself is definitely above average. Not the best Italian I ever had, but still delicious and the servers are always friendly and quick. Did I mention the meals also included unlimited house wine??? You read that right, free red AND white house wine with dinner. Is it the best wine ever? Yes, because it's free wine!
Overall a fun little place to take the family and enjoy some good Italian food.
