| - SCAMMERS!!! I am sad to say that I didn't look on yelp first before choosing this company to fix my garage door. I called Precision to come out and service my garage door because it was very loud. The person on the phone said they were sending out their technician Ivan. Ivan looked at my garage door and said that everything was working fine except for the nylon rollers. He said to replace all 10 rollers it would be $299. I told him that was too much and I would call someone else. Then he immediately tells me that he can get a manager approved discount for me for $75 dollars off. I said ok, and let him service the door. I should have stayed in the garage and watched him work, but needed to go inside with my 2 young children. I came out when he was finished, and he told me he did all of this extra work, like liquid sillicone in all joints and tightened some springs (before he started he told me springs were all fine). The garage was quieter after he finished, and I thought everything was fine. He also said the garage door was in great working condition and all it needed was the rollers. Ivan said he would e-mail me my reciept in 20 minutes because his tablet wasn't working. He never e-mailed me the receipt. Shortly after Ivan left, I went to open the garage door, and noticed after opening, that the door wouldn't stay open! It would slide slowly back down, to where I can't get my car out of the garage! So, Ivan came to fix the loud noise and left me with a broken garage door, where my husband and I can't get our cars in or out. This was after 5:00, so I decided to wait until the next morning to call.
I called their office the next day and the person on phone told me that it was probably just a spring and it would be an easy fix. Ivan came back out to take a look. When he arrived, he looked at door for 2 seconds and said that my Garage door opener motor was broken, and that I needed to buy a new one from them!! I told him that he is the one that broke the door while he was servicing it, because it worked fine before he started, and they needed to rectify the situation. Ivan said there was nothing he could do but charge me for the new opener replacement and service and to call his manager Ryan. So I called Ryan. Of course the receptionist told me "Ryan was on the other line" and asked if she could help. I told her my story of now broken garage door after paying $238 dollars for new nylon rollers. She told me that this happens all of the time! After servicing a garage door it can make other parts break!!!! I laughed out loud. Ivan never mentioned to me during the service that doing so could make my garage door break, and they won't be responsible for it! I wouldve just lived with the loud noises it was making, if I wouldve known that information!! The receptionist said she would have the manager Ryan call me to see what he could do. Guess what?????? Ryan NEVER CALLED ME BACK!
Stay far away from this company! They truly are scam artists. They broke my garage door. The manager or owner has yet to contact me. I highly doubt that they will after reading all of these reviews on yelp.
