If for no other reason, go here to check out the Cleveland Air Show for free--it's one of the best views of the show around The Land.
But as a park, it's just awesome. Like yelper Alexander B mentioned, this park is way underutilized. It boasts fabulous views of both the city scape and lake. It's well maintained and relatively safe, considering there is a regular guard that remains there for the hours it's open.
I will say that the city does a few events at the park during the warmer months, but I'd love to see more--especially with it's awesome location right next to the Browns Stadium, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center.
Keep in mind that this is more of a place to make your own fun, so don't expect a jungle gym for the kiddies, etc.
I absolutely love this park for a sunset bike ride and stroll, but I'm really looking forward to having a picnic here one of these days.
