| - If you can find a car anywhere else but here, please do so. These folks are such creeps. From the stupid salesperson right on up the line to Jim Marsh himself, you can't find a worse place to do business. I've bought and sold lots of cars but have never had such a miserable experience as I did at Jim Marsh. The service department won't make an appointment unless you have a major service, then some idiot lube tech downloads his music in your car, and if you have a problem, good luck. The salesman didn't show me one thing about the car before delivery. When I've purchased cars before, the salesperson made sure I knew how to use the cruise control, the navigation system, etc. Not this fool.
Then I moved out of state and the business manager said he would "get back to me" about cancelling my maintenance program and of course he never even tried. The Kia dealer where I live now in CA said to call Jim Marsh directly and talk to him. Jim Marsh won't even return a phone call. How's that for customer service? All his phony ads on TV and radio about what a wonderful guy he is, is just B S. He's a jerk like the others. So folksy with his daughter makes you think he's a nice person. Who won't even return a phone call?
It's really a shame because I love the car but the bad taste that Jim Marsh Kia left is not going to end. I pay every month for the maintenance contract but now have to pay again every time my car is serviced. Kia won't do anything for me either. No telling how many complaints they've had about this shady dealer.
At the Kia dealer here in CA, I can make my service appointment online for anytime I like. The waiting room is CLEAN and they have fresh coffee and bottled water for you. Comfortable NEW seating that doesn't feel like it came from Goodwill. Free computers to use, clean rest rooms. What a difference!! Jim Marsh Kia feels like you went to a poor Granny's house who never cleaned her "collectibles". (Read JUNK)
Go somewhere else to purchase a great car. I love my Optima.
