I was booked here by my company for a work training in Tempe. I am SO glad I stayed here! This property is lovely. I would first like to give a big shout out to Amanda at the front Desk, and the Ahhhmazing Kenya who is one of the coolest people I've ever met.
Side bar- if you go in March, this property has Cubs players staying at it...but you didn't hear that from me ;)
The rooms are huge, beds are so comfy and the windows open! Check check check in my book. The have an "evening social" every night in the lobby where you can get a free meal and beers. It was such a cool way to end my evenings with new friends I had met during training.
The free breakfast in the morning was also impressive. I enjoyed it every morning of my stay! You are close to a big shopping center and lots of restaurants. I walked to the closest gridbike location and enjoyed a ride along Tempe Town Lake. So beautiful!
I would say my only negative is that the pool is on the East side of the building, so it is in the shade most of the afternoon. (but maybe that is a nice thing for people who don't like the heat as much as i) :)
When we come to Spring Training next year, I def. plan on staying at the Homewood Suites.
